GIBAN’s source catalog currently inherits a 2019 release year from upstream set metadata. That is not the commercial release year of this card. Public pricing and reporting use the verified 2022 distribution history; the catalog correction is explicitly surfaced instead of silently rewriting the evidence trail.
Completed-sale dispersion matters more than the headline mark.

The card trades like a condition option.
Special Delivery Charizard is a narrative-rich modern promo with exceptional name recognition, but its investable characteristic is not simple scarcity. The economic feature is the gulf between ordinary sealed/raw copies and correctly graded Gem Mint examples. That spread persists because the promotional handling path, centering and surface quality constrain the top grade even when raw supply is visible. The card therefore behaves like a condition option: raw holders own uncertain grade exposure, while PSA 10 buyers pay for the removal of that uncertainty.
The delay became part of the collectible.
Collector discussion has followed the card’s unusual chronology: an official reveal in 2020, accidental shipment of a handful of copies in 2021, and broad code-based distribution in 2022. The delay made SWSH075 look older than its actual market float and caused sellers to label it variously as 2019, 2020 or 2022. That metadata disorder still contaminates sale matching. At the same time, Charizard, the delivery motif and Pokémon Center association give the card a story that is understandable without detailed set knowledge, supporting cross-border liquidity.

SELECTIVE BUY.
GIBAN’s stance is SELECTIVE BUY, not indiscriminate accumulation. Raw copies are attractive only when the sealed wrapper and visible card allow a credible condition screen or when the price is below the 7-day liquidation band. PSA 10 is the cleaner institutional asset, but acquisition discipline matters because recent prints span roughly $1,825 to $2,562. We would not capitalize the high print as fair value. Our working PSA 10 mark is anchored near $2,126 with a wide $1,825–$2,450 confidence interval; an acquisition below roughly $1,775 creates the cushion expected for inventory, fees and country-basis risk. For raw, the working FMV is $200 and a professional inventory bid belongs near $165–$175 unless the copy has been individually screened.
What breaks the mark.
Year labels are unreliable. Exact identity must be SWSH075, English, Special Delivery Charizard; 2019/2020/2022 title text alone is not a rejection or acceptance rule.
Sealed is not synonymous with PSA 10. The wrapper can hide centering, edge or surface defects and can itself create pressure marks.
Completed-sale aggregators can mix accepted offers, shipping-inclusive values, foreign-currency conversions and misgraded titles. Every outlier needs source-link review.
The PSA 10/raw multiple invites speculative grading submissions. A decline in the realized gem rate or a wave of stored sealed copies entering the market can compress the premium.
Korean sell-through is thinner than global eBay sell-through. A USD reference must be reduced for fees, shipping, FX movement and local execution time before it becomes a Korean cash value.

Reference prices are time-stamped market intelligence, not guaranteed executable bids. The valuation intentionally uses ranges because condition, fees, shipping, FX and local liquidity change cash realization.
